My journey into technology didn't start in a computer lab—it started in a 6th-grade English classroom in Mexico. When our school began implementing devices in classrooms, I saw an opportunity to make teaching more engaging and my job easier. The turning point came when I discovered Hopscotch, a block-code application. Watching students learn geometry by building shapes with code was my 'aha moment.' I realized technology wasn't just a tool—it was a way to transform how we learn and solve problems.

That spark led me to learn basic web development, and soon after, a position opened for Tech Support/Technology Teacher. I jumped at it. My days became a mix of fixing computers, supporting staff and students, and teaching HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We built LEGO Mindstorms robots, explored block coding, and I fell in love with the intersection of education and technology.

From there, I advanced to Technology Coordinator, managing the tech curriculum and infrastructure. This was my pivot into System Administration—working with network firewalls, switches, servers, virtual machines, Windows Server, DHCP, and Active Directory. As the Google Workspace Admin, I discovered JavaScript's power through Apps Script, automating workflows in Google Sheets and building solutions that saved hours of manual work.

On the side, I started building websites for clients, which opened doors to Linux, Proxmox, and cloud technologies. I learned to incorporate these tools into my workflow, designing network solutions for businesses that needed virtualization and cloud services. Today, I bridge DevOps and development, constantly learning and engineering solutions that make a difference. From code blocks in a classroom to cloud infrastructure in production—it's been one incredible journey.
